About Our Concrete Work in Tustin

We build concrete for your home: driveways, patios, pool decks, steps and the walkways that tie them together. Before anything is poured, we work out what the city requires, what the ground needs and how the finish should look years from now, and we explain each step in plain terms.

Good concrete starts with the ground and the paperwork

Most of what makes a slab last happens before the truck arrives. We look at how water moves across your lot, how firm the soil is, what thickness the slab needs for the weight it will carry, and where control joints should fall so any cracking stays in the joints instead of wandering across the surface.

Then comes the part many homeowners never hear about until it causes trouble. Some projects need a permit and an inspection, such as a driveway approach that meets the street, steps with a real change in height, or a slab meant to carry a structure. Others do not. We tell you which applies to your job, handle the application when one is needed, and schedule any inspection of forms and reinforcement before the pour, so nothing gets buried that an inspector still needs to see.

We would rather spend an extra hour on layout than an extra day explaining a mistake. That care carries into the finish: a broom texture set at the right moment for traction beside a pool, a stamped pattern squared to your doors, edges tooled clean where concrete meets the planting beds.

How we run a job

  1. 01

    Code questions answered first

Permits, setbacks and slope requirements get sorted during planning, not after the forms are set. If a rule shapes your design, we show you why and what the options are.

  2. 02

A written scope you can follow

Your estimate lists the work line by line: demolition, base, reinforcement, thickness, finish and cleanup. You know what is included before you agree to anything.

  3. 03

    Base and steel done properly

We compact the base in lifts, set rebar or wire on supports so it ends up inside the slab rather than under it, and pitch surfaces so water drains away from your home.

  4. 04

    Your property treated with care

We protect lawns, walls and plantings near the work, keep washout off your yard, haul away debris, and leave you clear instructions on how long to stay off fresh concrete and how to look after it while it cures.

Where we pour

We work across Tustin and North Tustin, and regularly in Irvine, Santa Ana, Orange, Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Anaheim, Fountain Valley, Lake Forest and Laguna Woods. Each city handles permits a little differently, and drainage can change from one lot to the next, so we visit every site in person before we write a scope.
